Vercel Connect’s setup process involves the following steps:

Step 1: Set up Vercel Connect

Admin The setup process for Vercel Connect varies depending on your framework and integration surface. Before you create credentials, follow the Vercel documentation for your environment: Note the redirect URI for your integration surface. You need it in the next step.

Step 2: Create Box OAuth credentials

Create OAuth credentials in Box using one of the following options, depending on your permissions.
Admin
  1. Sign in to the Box Admin Console.
  2. Go to Integrations and find Custom Box MCP Server using the MCP Category filter or the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. Go to Configuration > Add Integration Credentials.
  4. Enter a name for the credentials.
  5. In Redirect URIs, enter the redirect URI for the integration surface you set up in Step 1.
  6. Select the Access scopes your agent needs.
  7. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret, then paste them into Vercel Connect.
Some Box MCP tools, such as Box AI and Box Doc Gen tools, depend on specific scopes. To use these tools, enable the required scopes.
