Atlassian Rovo’s setup process involves the following steps:
  1. Admin enablement in Box
  2. Admin configuration in Atlassian
  3. End-user connection

Step 1: Enable integration in Box

Admin
  1. Sign in to the Box Admin Console.
  2. Go to Integrations and find Atlassian Rovo MCP Server either by using the MCP Category filter, or by using the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. Make sure that Atlassian Rovo MCP Server is enabled for your enterprise by setting its availability to Available to all users.

Step 2: Configure connection in Atlassian

Admin
  1. In the Atlassian admin console, navigate to the Apps page using the left sidebar.
  2. Click Connectors, then select Add connectors.
  3. Search for Box in the list of available connectors.
  4. Click Authorize Box to begin the OAuth authorization process.

Step 3: Configure end-user connection

User
  1. In Rovo, click Sources (located to the right of the + button in the prompt window).
  2. Click Connect next to the Box connector.
