Box provides keyboard shortcuts to quickly navigate our web application. In this article, Alt/Option indicates to press the Alt key on Windows, and the Option key on Mac. For actions related to an item, select the item before pressing the shortcut. You can view a list of all keyboard shortcuts in the web application by pressing Alt/Option + Shift + /.

Box Notes shortcuts

To open a list of available keyboard shortcuts in Box Notes:
  • On a Mac, press Command and /
  • On Windows, press Control and /

Box Sign shortcuts

To prepare your Sign documents or templates as a sender, use the following keyboard shortcuts:
⌘ / Ctrl + xCut selected fields.
⌘ / Ctrl + cCopy selected fields.
⌘ / Ctrl + vPaste selected fields. Carries over copied field values. Pasted fields have a slight overlap in the same location as the original.
⌘ / Ctrl + dDuplicate selected fields. Combination of Copy and Paste.
⌘ / Ctrl + left-clickSelect multiple fields. After selecting, you can use these shortcuts:
  • Cut
  • Copy
  • Paste
  • Duplicate
  • Delete

Bulk reassign recipients within a signature request. Select two or more fields, then left-click to reassign the recipients. Additionally, you can delete the selected fields.

* Actions for which Undo/Redo can be used include:
  • Adding, removing, moving, and resizing fields.
  • Updating fields and their settings (including fonts), title and settings, recipient assignment, and Required/Not Required selection.

Box Drive shortcuts

To search your entire Box account with Box Drive, use the following keyboard shortcuts:
  • Mac: Ctrl + Option + Cmd + Space
  • Windows: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + b

Box Hubs shortcuts

Box Hubs has separate shortcuts for building a Hub and for reading one. To see them while you work, open a Hub and press Alt/Option + Shift + /. The Keyboard Shortcuts panel opens with an Edit Mode tab and a View Mode tab. For the full list, see Using keyboard shortcuts in Box Hubs.
