Hub Insights gives hub owners and co-owners a view of how their hub is being used, right from the hub itself. Use it to see whether a hub is reaching its audience, who is engaging with it, and when it might need a refresh.
Hub Insights is available in the Box web app to hub owners and co-owners. It requires no admin configuration.

Opening Hub Insights

To open Hub Insights:
  1. Open the hub.
  2. In the hub header, select More Options (⋯) > Hub Insights.
The Hub Insights dialog opens with three panels: Hub Activity Summary, Collaborators, and Activity Feed.
Hub Insights dialog showing the Hub Activity Summary chart of views and edits, the Collaborators chart split by internal and external type, and the Activity Feed list with a Load more option

Hub activity summary

Hub Activity Summary displays a chart of hub views and edits over time. You can display activity for the last 30, 60, or 90 days, or select a custom date range within the past year. To display only views or only edits, clear the Views or Edits checkbox below the chart.

Collaborators

Collaborators displays how many people and groups the hub is shared with, split between internal and external collaborators. To display only one type of collaborator, clear the Internal or External checkbox next to the chart.

Activity feed

Activity Feed lists who viewed or edited the hub and when. This includes views from people who open the hub through a shared link without signing in to Box. To display older activity, select Load more at the bottom of the feed.
