Box enables you to control access to these official Box clients:
  • Desktop
  • Android
  • iOS
  • Server
  • Mobile Web and Accessibility
  • Box Drive
  • CLI
By default, official Box clients are enabled, and we do not recommend you disable them. If you disable all Box Mobile clients, none of the Box Mobile admin functions are available to you. If you disable the CLI, CLI access through the default Box app is restricted. Access is then only permitted using credentials from the customer’s custom OAuth app created in the Developer Console. To disable a Box client:
  1. Open the Admin Console.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Enterprise Settings.
  3. In the top of the page, click Box Client.
  4. Beside the client, click the slider button to the disabled position.
