KeySafe must be configured initially by Box Support and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) requirements for KeySafe must be met before you can enable KeySafe with Google Cloud Platform.
  1. Go to Admin Console > Enterprise Settings.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. In the KeySafe section, click Enable.
  4. Enter your GCP Project ID, Key ID, KeyRing ID, and Location ID.
  5. Select Enable.
  6. Select Save.
Important: Enable KeySafe with cautionWhen using KeySafe, you alone are responsible for maintaining your encryption key. Box Support cannot decrypt your content in case of access issues, which may result in a complete loss of access for all users. Box Support will be unable to restore access except in limited circumstances.
