# AI Threat Analysis

*This feature is only available as part of the Box Shield Pro add-on.*

AI Threat Analysis produces Box AI-generated summaries for threat alerts, pulling in the most critical data and context and explaining the alert in easy-to-understand language.

## Enable AI Threat Analysis

Admins can enable Box AI to analyze alerts generated by a specific detection rule. This is turned off by default.

## Alert summary

Turn on AI Threat Analysis to get a summary of an alert. Alert summaries:

* Include why the alert was created and additional explanatory information on the detected anomaly.
* Are typically around one paragraph long and aim to quickly highlight the most important information for the admin.
* Are tailored to each [Box Shield threat detection rule.](/en/box-shield/shield-threat-detection-rules)
* Are generated each time an admin views an alert, ensuring the summary reflects the most up-to-date information available on the alert page.
* Can be easily saved for future reference using the **Copy to clipboard** feature.
* Include a **Helpful** / **Not helpful** thumbs up/down option. Please share your feedback to help the Box Shield team understand how useful these summaries are for your team.
