# Tracking Document Generation Activity

Doc Gen tracks all document generation activities for each template. You can view activity summaries and detailed information about individual generation requests.

## View activity for a template

Doc Gen allows you to track your document generation activities for a Doc Gen template. To track this:

1. Go to **Relay** > **Doc Gen**.
2. Hover over the template you want to check and select the **View Activity** button.

After that, the **Activity** page displays all document generation activities for that template.

## View details for a specific activity

To troubleshoot errors or review specific generation details:

1. On the **Activity** page, hover over the activity that you want to review.
2. Select **View Details**.

The **Activity details** page shows:

* Request ID
* [Status](/en/box-doc-gen/tracking-and-troubleshooting/document-generation-statuses)
* Date and time of document generation
* Template used
* JSON data used
* Link to the generated document
