# Enabling Box Doc Gen

Before your users can generate documents, you must enable Box Doc Gen for your managed or selected users and groups.

  Box Doc Gen is available only for Enterprise Advanced accounts.

## Enabling access

1. Go to **Admin Console** > **Enterprise Settings** > **Content & Sharing**.
2. In the [Enterprise Settings: Content & Sharing tab](/en/box-admin-tools/box-admin-reference/enterprise-settings-content-sharing-tab#box-doc-gen), configure access for your managed or selected users and groups.
3. Select **Save**.
