# Known Archive Limitations

### Archive Limit

* The Box Archive feature enables you to create a maximum of 10,000 top-level Archive folders.

### Bookmarks

* A bookmark, if Archived alone, can't be restored to its original location.
* Archived bookmarks don't appear in the Archive search filter.
* Archived bookmarks don't have archive dates, so a retention policy cannot trigger off that date.

### Box API

* Renaming an Archive via the Box API doesn't block duplicate names.
* Renaming an Archive via the Box API doesn't change the owner's name.

### Unsupported Box Products

* **Drive**: The Box Archive feature does not support Drive.
* **Mobile**: The Box Archive feature is not available in the Box mobile app.
