# Information Barrier Report

Running an information barrier report is a mandatory step when [enabling an information barrier](/en/box-shield/shield-information-barrier/enabling-an-information-barrier).

To generate the information barrier report:

1. Navigate to the **Admin Console**, then **Shield**.
2. Select the **Information Barrier** tab.
3. Click **Run Collaboration Report**.

This report can take up to 2 hours to run and the information barrier cannot be enabled until the report is complete. You will receive an email notification when the report is complete.

### Information barrier report data columns

Information barrier reports contain the following information:

**Owner Name**

The name of the user who owns the created file, folder, or Hub.

**Owner Login**

The login email address of the owner of the file, folder, or Hub.

**Owner Segment Name**

The name of the information barrier segment the owner of the file, folder, or Hub belongs to. If empty, the owner does not belong to any segment.

**Path**

The path to the affected item from the Box root folder. For Hubs, the path will always be empty.

**Path IDs**

The ID of the path to the affected item.

**Item Name**

The name of the item from which an entity will be removed to comply with the information barrier. For example, the name of a folder from which a user is being removed, or the name of a Hub from which a file is being removed.

**Item ID**

The ID of the item from which an entity will be removed to comply with the information barrier. For example, the folder ID from which a user is being removed, or the Hub ID from which a file is being removed.

**Item Type**

The type of item from which an entity will be removed in order for the information barrier to function.

**To Be Removed Related Entity Name**

The name of the related entity that will be removed for the information barrier to function.

**To Be Removed Related Entity Login**

The login email address of the person who will be removed for the information barrier to function. If empty, the entity is a file or folder.

**To Be Removed Related Entity Type**

The type of entity, such as user, folder, or file, that will be removed for the information barrier to function.

**To Be Removed Related Entity Segment Name**

The segment name of the related entity that will be removed for the information barrier to function.

**Collaborator Permission**

The permission level of the collaborator who will be removed for the information barrier to function.

**Inviter Email**

The email address of the person who invited a user to collaborate on an item that violates the information barrier rules.

**Invited Date**

The date on which the invitation that violated the information barrier rules was sent.

**Invite Accepted Date**

The date on which the invitation that violated the information barrier rules was accepted.
