# Folder Activity Report

Reports can be generated to see details of how many previews, downloads, uploads, and edits have occurred from collaborators within a defined time period.

To generate the Folder Activity report:

1. Hover over a folder and select the **...** button, then **Folder Insights**.
2. In the Folder Activity section, select **Download Report**.

Prior to downloading the report, you can optionally select the [filters](#folder-activity-report-filters) to be applied.

### Folder Activity report data columns

Folder Activity reports contain the following information:

  Date
</h4>

The date and time of the recorded action.

<h4 id="user-name">
  User Name
</h4>

The username of the individual who carried out the action.

<h4 id="user-email">
  User Email
</h4>

The value in the *Email* field in User Account Details of the individual who carried out the action on an item.

  Action
</h4>

Is one of **Previews**, **Downloads**, **Uploads**, **Created**, **File Opened**, or **Edits**.

  Affected
</h4>

The item upon which an action has been conducted.

</h3>

This section describes the filters you can configure prior to running the Folder Activity report:

  Collaborators
</h4>

Optional. Select between **All collaborators** (default), **Internal collaborators**, and **External collaborators**.

<h4 id="date-range">
  Date range
</h4>

Optional. Select data to be included from the **Last 30 days**, the **Last 60 days**, the **Last 90 days** (default), or a **Custom range** (within the last 90 days).

  Action
</h4>

Optional. Select from the checkboxes at the bottom of the **Folder Activity section**. Options include **Previews, Downloads, Uploads**, and **Edits**.
