# Content Recovery Report

<div className="article_labels_list" style={{display: 'none'}} dangerouslySetInnerHTML={{__html: "Report , content recovery"}} />

Admins and co-admins with requisite permissions can recover content. This report allows you to review files before initiating recovery and after recovery has completed.

For more information, see [Recovering Content](/en/box-admin-tools/managing-content/content-recovery/recovering-content).

## Content Recovery report filters

Before downloading the Content Recovery report, you apply filters to control which files appear. Filters include:

<h3 id="file-name">
  File Name
</h3>

Filter by keyword within file names.

<h3 id="activity-type">
  Activity Type
</h3>

Select one or both of the following options to display:

* **File modification events**
* **File trash events**

<h3 id="date-range">
  Date Range
</h3>

The date range defines the timeframe in which user activity is reviewed. You can select any date range within the last 30 days, with a minimum span of one hour. After a Content Recovery task has been created, the date range can be modified only within the originally selected range. Once recovery has been initiated, the date range can’t be changed.
