# Running the User Engagement Report

<div className="article_labels_list" style={{display: 'none'}} dangerouslySetInnerHTML={{__html: "Admin , Admin Console , Overview , Article , Product Utilization , Established"}} />

Run a User Engagement report to see an overview of your users’ storage consumption, file and folder count, and collaborations.

It provides enterprise administrators with key metrics across several dimensions, including:

* Content storage
* User activity
* File and user collaboration counts
* Detected threats

More information about included data points, filters, and how to schedule and subscribe users to the report is available in [User Engagement Report](/en/box-admin-tools/reporting-and-insights/user-engagement-report).

**To run the User Engagement report:**

1. Go to **Admin Console >** **Reports**.
2. Click **Create Report**.
3. Select the **User Engagement** report.
4. Click **Next**. See [Running Reports](/en/box-admin-tools/reporting-and-insights/running-reports) for more information.
5. Select the columns you want to appear in the report
6. Click **Run**. Box downloads the information in a .csv format, in your default **Reports** folder.

You can also generate the User Engagement report by navigating to the **Users & Groups** > **Managed Users** tab, selecting **Download Report**, then **User Engagement**. We recommend generating the report from the **Reports** page, though, as you can customize the report output there.

<Note>
  **Note:** Only admins and co-admins can run a User Engagement report. Group admins cannot run this report.
