**Box Zones** enables businesses around the globe to use Box as their content management platform while storing their data in the region(s) of their choice, rather than in Box data centers based in the United States. Box Zones can assist with situations where customers are looking to support certain compliance mandates associated with data residency or privacy concerns.

  **Note**: The France Zone enables you to store your content completely in France. Most of the content’s processing happens in the EU region, similar to our other EU Zones offerings.
